Were seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg unit in Gainesville, Florida . Position Summary: As an RN on the Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg Unit , youll deliver high-quality, evidence-based care that aligns with state regulations and organizational standards. You will partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patientsespecially those with complex cardiac needs.
Requirements
- 1+ year of recent acute care RN experience (within the past 4 years)
- Registered Nurse license (active FL or compact)
- RN Diploma or Associate Degree required
- BLS (within 30 days of start)
- ACLS (within 90 days of start)
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient condition during each shift and on admission
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and take action when needed
- Perform ordered procedures and ensure timely documentation in the EMR
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, medications, and follow-up care
- Serve as an advocate for patients and ensure a safe, healing environment
- Translate complex medical terms to ensure patient and caregiver understanding
Benefits
- Salary Range: $29/hr (2 years of experience) $33.71/hr (5 years) Up to $43/hr (17+ years)
- Shift Differentials: Nights: +$4.25/hr Weekends: +$3/hr
- Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
- Relocation Assistance: Case by Case
