About The Position

Our team enjoys a highly valued work-life balance through a compressed workweek, primarily consisting of four 10-hour shifts. The department proudly serves both inpatient and outpatient needs. Outpatient Services operate Monday - Friday, while Inpatient Services operate 7 days a week, including holidays. Staff members are integral to both inpatient and outpatient operations and participate in a rotating schedule that includes 10-hour shifts for weekend and holiday inpatient coverage. A weekend shift involves working both Saturday and Sunday, with a compensatory weekday off provided in the week preceding and the week following the worked weekend. On average, staff can expect to work one weekend per month and one to two holidays annually. This structure allows for extended time off during the week. The Registered Nurse assesses human responses and plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for individuals or families for whom the nurse is responsible. The Registered Nurse is fully responsible for all actions as a licensed nurse and is accountable to patients for the quality of care delivered.
