The role you'll contribute: Designs and implements Cardiac Rehab treatment programs. Supervises and delegates appropriately to other Rehab Team members assisting with Cardiac Rehab. Assists with departmental operations as directed by the Cardiology Director or designate. Communicates effectively with and consistently provides excellent customer service to physicians. Assists in coordinating interdisciplinary communication. Facilitates patient teaching.

Requirements

BSN from an accredited college of nursing Required .
Acute Cardiac care nursing experience Required .
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Required .
ACLS Required .
BCLS - Basic Life Support Required .

Responsibilities

Coordinate patient flow and education .
Create appropriate exercise plans .
Schedule staff according to volume .
Assist secretary with any questions or concerns toward patient scheduling and paperwork .
Document and monitor patients vitals during exercise .
Document post exercise information .
Visit interventional stent patients on various units to educate about cardiac rehab .
Navigate within Cerner EMR.
