About The Position

Position Highlights: • Position: Registered Nurse, Cardiac Imaging • Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights • Per Diem, as needed • Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday hours • Required Travel: None • On Call: None What You Will Do: • Perform cardiac stress testing and monitor patients throughout procedures • Provide focused patient assessment, including cardiac rhythm interpretation • Administer moderate sedation and support CCU-level patient care as needed • Communicate patient status and test results with physicians and care team • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EMR • Educate patients on procedures and post-test expectations • Assist with IV placement, medication administration, and oxygen therapy • Support safe, efficient patient flow and assist with transport when needed • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality patient care • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and HIPAA regulations

Requirements

  • Experience: Cardiac Imaging experience highly preferred. Previous experience with Cardiac/telemetry, stress testing and/or cardiac rhythm interpretation
  • Education: BSN preferred
  • Licensure/Certification: IL RN license, BLS, ACLS
