Requirements

• Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License required.
• Critical care experience preferred.
• ACLS and BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of patients requiring open heart surgery from admission through discharge.
• Develop strong assessment skills and become experts at managing drip titrations, chest tubes, and ventilators.
• Specialize in cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, and management of Intra-aortic balloon pumps and Impella devices.
