Apply today for our RN Cardiac Cath Lab opportunity. JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. You will proactively assume responsibility and accountability for several patients during a designated time frame while following policies and procedures. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. HCA Florida West Hospital is a 515-bed facility. Our hospital is the first in the state of Florida to have earned Atrial Fibrillation with Electrophysiology Services Accreditation. We have an Advanced Primary Stroke Center. We provide a specialized Emergency Department tailored to the needs of seniors and children. We have a Kid's ER dedicated to our youngest patients. Requirements

Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
1+ years of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred
Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, BSN is preferred
NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start
American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of employment start date
Interventional Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred
30 minute call window required

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
