Job Summary and Qualifications As a Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN), you'll play a vital role in the healing journey of patients with a variety of burn injuries. With stays ranging from days to weeks, you'll build meaningful relationships and witness powerful healing journeys. Partnering with a skilled team that's deeply committed to this unique population, you'll restore comfort and healing - caring for patients like family and improving lives every day.

Requirements

Registered Nurses passionate about critical care and burn nursing
Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork skills
Commitment to professional development and patient-centered care
RN acute hospital ICU or Stepdown/ PCU/ Telemetry experience
Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Basic Cardiac Life Support
(RN) Registered Nurse licensure in Colorado or Multistate
Registered Nurse Diploma

Responsibilities

Assessing patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout their care journey
Performing expert procedures and medication administration - including pain relief and fluid therapy - delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort
Educating and supporting patients and families with compassion and clarity to confidently navigate recovery and make informed decisions
Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-centered care tailored to each individual's needs
