About The Position

By joining Vero Radiology Associates as an RN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients on a day-to-day basis. In this position, you will use your nursing knowledge to support patients, acting as both an educator and advocate. You can also take advantage of the countless professional and educational resources offered by Cleveland Clinic, which will help you to grow your skills and advance in your nursing career. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:30AM - 4:30PM.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
  • One year of current acute care RN experience. Will consider licensed military RN experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Electrical Physiology experience
  • Cath Lab experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care.
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
  • Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
  • Educate patients and their families.
