About The Position

The Cardiac Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive cardiac care across diagnostic stress testing services and the Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) Center. This role is responsible for supervising and monitoring all types of cardiac stress testing, while also managing and supporting heart failure patients through assessment, education, medication management, and coordinated care. The RN collaborates closely with cardiologists, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based cardiovascular care focused on patient safety, symptom management, and reducing hospital readmissions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position. BSN or MSN graduates preferred
  • Grandfathered Exemption of Educational Requirement for currently employed RNs: Hired on or before May 31, 2013 - IMC Hired on or before August 4, 2015 - IMCW Hired on or before May 31, 2023 - IMCM
  • Minimum 2 years of cardiac, telemetry, critical care, or cardiac clinic experience preferred.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in cardiac stress testing and/or heart failure management strongly preferred.
