About The Position
The Clinical Nurse provides professional nursing care for assigned patients in various patient care departments, adhering to the State Board of Nursing Practice Act and the American Nursing Association Code of Ethics. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The nurse actively participates in patient care decisions and serves as an instructor, colleague, researcher, advocate, and leader. Competency in quality care, process improvement, patient and employee safety, collaboration, consultation, and professional development is essential. The role involves planning, organizing, delegating, and evaluating care rendered by LPNs, technicians, and other staff.
