RN- Birthplace/OB (Per Diem)

Per diem; varied hours/shifts according to operational needs Job Description: UNIT DESCRIPTION: The Birthplace is a 12-bed, private room, labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum unit that includes a nursery staffed by obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, pediatricians, neonatologists and registered nurses. The Unit also has a 2 bed triage and 6 bed postpartum area. Registered nurses are required to demonstrate competent care of the patient in labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn advanced fetal monitoring, breastfeeding education, neonatal resuscitation certification, advanced life support certification, and the OR scrub and circulating roles. Minimum Requirements: Current Massachusetts RN license Labor and Delivery experience required Mother/Baby experience required AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire NRP required Evidence of recent AWHONN EFM continuing education with 2 years Recommended Requirements: OR Circulating & Scrub experience preferred Experience working in continuing care/special care nursery/NICU environment preferred Pay Range: $37.14 - $76.08 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law. Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN license
- Labor and Delivery experience required
- Mother/Baby experience required
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire
- NRP required
- Evidence of recent AWHONN EFM continuing education with 2 years
