Requirements
- Current RN license in NC
- Previous experience in behavioral health or long -term care preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Strong observational, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic care setting
Responsibilities
- Administer medications or delegate to qualified UAPs (CMA, RMA, med aide, med tech)
- Conduct physical health assessments and screenings; obtain samples as needed
- Communicate with MD/NP/PA for medical orders
- Provide individual, group, and family education on medications and health processes
- Document care and support activities in the EHR
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and case support
- Maintain patient confidentiality and caution staff on potential breaches
- Provide crisis intervention consultation to team members
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
