The Registered Nurse Bed Coordinator at St. Luke’s University Health Network is responsible for prioritizing, triaging, and coordinating patient flow activities, including all inter/intra-facility transfers and bed placement. This role serves as the initial contact for providers seeking to transfer patients for a higher level of care, facilitating transfers to the most appropriate Network facility based on location, available specialties, and bed availability, in conjunction with the accepting physician. The position is part-time, 0.4 FTE (16 hours per week), working an evening shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, with a requirement for every other weekend and 4 holidays per year on rotation.
