Your Role: Establishes and maintains systems to ensure compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and State of Florida licensure standards. Demonstrates an understanding of diversity. Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values). Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients. Promote a consistent, consolidated direction for nursing care provision throughout nursing service in accordance with nursing service’s philosophy and the hospital’s and BHC services’ missions. Manages departmental budgetary responsibilities. Responsible for all BHC nursing and technician staff functions. Collects, analyzes, and reports quality data. Performs other duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in nursing from a program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
  • Four (4) years progressively responsible nursing administration experience
  • Licensed as an RN in accordance with Florida Statutes (F.S.), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure]
