About The Position

The Windsor Registered Nurse at Carle Health is responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare to residents in an assisted living facility. This role involves utilizing a systematic nursing approach that includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for individuals, families, and communities, particularly focusing on the elderly and those with Alzheimer's and Dementia-related diagnoses.

Requirements

• Diploma in Nursing (not high school diploma).
• Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License in Illinois upon hire.
• Experience caring for the elderly and those with Alzheimer's and Dementia-related diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide and facilitate competent health care for residents and families.
• Ensure adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice.
• Document care accurately and completely.
• Provide health and wellness education to individuals and groups.
• Conduct assessments and reassessments, updating service and care plans as needed.
• Deliver care to residents in accordance with their service plans.
