The Anticoagulation Registered Nurse renders care remotely to CentraCare anticoagulation patients. They work as a valuable member of the interprofessional patient care team, making independent and dependent decisions under the direction of a provider. The Anticoagulation Registered Nurse has mastered technical skill and uses evidence-based interventions in providing age-appropriate care to patients and families. The Anticoagulation Registered Nurse collaborates with other health care team members when the need for assistance is identified. Schedule: Casual | Minimum of 2 shifts per month | Mostly remote Day shift | 8am-5pm No weekends or holidays Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $33.98 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience Pay range: $33.98 - $50.96 per hour Casual benefits available: casual PTO plan, wellness reward points, 401(k), employee assistance plan, and employee discounts! Qualifications: Associate degree required, bachelor's preferred from an accredited school of nursing 1 year of prior nursing experience required Registered Nurse (RN) Current licensure in the State of Minnesota required Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card per established policy 1 year of Anticoagulation dosing and monitoring experience preferred Possess the ability to understand patients’ medical records, physicians’ orders and medication orders to be communicated to patients and hospital staff Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Possess effective communication between colleagues, patients, and providers CentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
