The Endocrinology Department at Solon Family Health Center provides top-quality care to patients with various conditions, ranging from diabetes to thyroid disorders. As RN Team Lead, you will coordinate and oversee daily operations, workflows, delivery of care and caregiver education as needed. Some of your responsibilities will include direct patient support, while others are more clerical and administrative in nature. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Two years of recent RN experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Ability to travel to Cleveland Clinic regional locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Previous Charge Nurse or supervisory experience.
  • Prior endocrine experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing care to a specific patient population in a variety of ambulatory settings.
  • Assist in providing clinical oversight to assigned caregivers and patients to ensure quality and safe care.
  • Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues.
  • Perform duties of an RN Ambulatory.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
  • Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching and mentoring of assigned caregivers.
  • Assist in preparing department specific education.
  • Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement and research activities to improve patient outcomes, experience and safety.
