About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Ambulatory Surgery unit at Skokie Hospital, located in Skokie, IL. This position is full-time, requiring 40 hours of work per week, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM. The RN will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The role also involves guiding unlicensed assistive personnel and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
• Med/Surg experience required.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
