About The Position

This opportunity is a Per Diem Day Shift Position at Wellington Regional Medical Center, a 235-bed acute care hospital located in Wellington, Florida. The hospital has been providing high-quality healthcare services to the residents of Palm Beach County since 1986 and is accredited by The Joint Commission. Wellington Regional is committed to advanced technologies and expanding programs to meet community needs. The nursing teams utilize a top-of-license approach, focusing on patient safety and quality care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting.
• Previous OR experience preferred.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS (current upon hire).
• Current Florida nursing license.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Must be willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the facility.
• Performs on-call duties as required and necessary.
