Chagrin Falls Family Health Center offers a wide variety of dermatology, facial and plastics services, such as injections and filler, excisions, cosmetic dermatology, cutaneous laser surgery, hair loss treatment, laser hair removal, tattoo removal, lip enhancement, non-invasive cosmetic procedures and skin care. A caregiver in this role will work part-time hours Monday through Friday with shifts varying between 8 and 10 hours, typically scheduled between 8:00am to 4:30pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm. The schedule includes working every Friday, with remaining weekdays varying, and occasional Saturday shifts from 8:00am to 12:00pm offered on a volunteer basis for extended hours. This position is based in Chagrin Falls and may require floating to the Beachwood location when providers are out of the office.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
• One year of recent experience as an RN
• Will consider LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience in substitution of RN experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role but remaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting OR a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
• Prior plastic surgery, dermatology and/or post-surgical experience

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.
