About The Position
The Ambulatory Nurse provides clinical support to physicians ensuring a highly efficient well-trained team that supports the optimal level of operations and patient satisfaction. He/She delegates, assesses, plans, coordinates and provides higher level patient care activities where critical thinking skills are used to interpret complex information and guide patients to navigate the outpatient setting. The individual in this position is responsible for the oversight of the clinical staff which are primarily medical assistants and LVN’s.
Requirements
- Graduated of Accredited Nursing – Required
- RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing - Required
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing - Preferred
- 1 Year Acute Care Hospital - Preferred
- 1 Year Ambulatory, triage, or medical office experience - Preferred
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association - Preferred or ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association - Required, If working in specialty clinic
