Requirements

  • Current RN license (Florida or compact).
  • BLS required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with strong preference for cardiac or ER backgrounds.
  • Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity, team‑driven environment.
  • Strong critical‑thinking, communication, and patient‑education skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, high‑quality patient care using evidence‑based nursing practices.
  • Conduct assessments, create individualized care plans, and support patients through their visit or transition to post‑acute care.
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and ensure patient and family education throughout the care experience.
  • Prioritize clinical needs while maintaining a calm, professional presence.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational, regulatory, and safety policies.
  • contribute not only to direct patient care but also to continuous improvement, mentoring, and unit growth.
