One of the largest, most experienced cardiac and thoracic surgery groups in the world, our Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, cares for patients from all 50 states and around the world. Thoracic Surgery includes surgery of the esophagus, trachea, lungs and chest. By joining the Cardiothoracic Surgery team as an RN Ambulatory, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey. Some of your daily responsibilities will include performing telephone triage, setting up refills, coordinating care between providers and mid-levels, performing nurse visits for post-op services, and assisting with the procedures. By taking this opportunity, you will help alleviate tasks from other clinical staff and will allow them to focus more on the patients, which, in all, promotes the continuity of patient care and directly impacts the quality of care they receive. A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday from 7:30AM – 4:00PM.
