Our Expert Care. AuthoraCare Collective is currently seeking an RN for our After-hours department (Home Care/Long Term Care) supporting our Greensboro service area. This position is part-time: Every other Saturday and Sunday 8:00am - 8:30pm. Job Summary: Assess and identify patient/caregiver problems, establish nursing patient/caregiver care goals, and identify and implement interventions for all agency programs. Will document outcomes of care. Work with physician to establish and implement medical plan of care for the patient. Work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary group and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with group members, patients, caregivers, physicians, pharmacists, and other health care professionals and community service organizations. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationship with patient/caregiver to include providing emotional support and teaching.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Must be currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina and in good standings with NCBON.
  • One year of experience in an acute, hospice, home health setting, or long-term care setting.
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license required.
  • Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency.
  • Must have own transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree in nursing preferred.
  • Two years of experience preferred.
  • CHPN Certified preferred.
