About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Plano is seeking a Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of Med-Surg hospital experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in Surgical Orthopedics and Spine, although this is preferred rather than required. This full-time position operates during the day shift. The hospital is dedicated to providing quality healthcare and fostering an environment of dynamic learning, mentoring, and support for each team member. The patient population includes orthopedics, hip/knee joint replacements, oncology orthopedics, fractures, spine and neck surgeries, general surgery, bariatrics, and medical patients. The department maintains a Certificate of Distinction by The Joint Commission for managing hip/knee joint replacements and bariatric patients, emphasizing a fast-paced surgery department and staff development into clinical coaches and charge nurses.
