About The Position

3 East-Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation 24 bed acute inpatient rehab unit. 3 East specializes in rehabilitation of patients in order to transition home. Common diagnoses are strokes, brain injuries, transplant patients, spinal surgery, open heart surgical patients, and a variety of other diagnoses that result in debility. A Team approach is applied while caring for this patient population. The 3 East Team collaborates with physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Assesses patient reports/records change of condition and notifies physician and/or supervisor and intervenes appropriately and documents accordingly.
Accepts assignments in areas other than primary unit, and performs duties within individualized competency.
