About The Position

We’re hiring experienced RMD Pipe Welders for ongoing industrial and fabrication work in Baton Rouge. Tarpon Specialty Services is known for precision, safety, and long-term project stability. If you’re a welder who can deliver clean RMD roots and solid Flux-Cored fill/caps, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

• Solid experience with RMD & FCAW welding on carbon steel pipe
• Knowledge of fit-up and WPS
• Must pass RMD + FCAW weld test
• Dependable and quality-focused

Responsibilities

• Weld high-spec pipe using RMD and FCAW methods
• Read blueprints and ensure dimensional accuracy
• Maintain a clean, safe work area
• Verify your own welds meet visual and NDT standards
