About The Position

The Part-Time RMA Material Planning Clerk supports daily inventory control and material flow activities within the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) department. This role is responsible for receiving and transferring returned products and materials, performing data entry, conducting inventory counts, and coordinating with suppliers to resolve discrepancies. The position also supports spare parts management, return-to-vendor (RTV) processing, repair tracking, invoicing, and service quotations within RMA systems. Working closely with the Warehouse team, this part-time role helps ensure accurate inventory records and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and RMA operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required with an Associate’s (A.A./A.S.) degree in a related technical or scientific field preferred or equivalent one (1) year of related experience within inventory control.
  • Prior experience with data input required.
  • Conversational skills in Mandarin Chinese language required, in order to communicate with global staff and clientele.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of RMA technical processes, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ability to complete multiple projects with changing circumstances, workload, priorities, and deadlines with quality results.
  • Ability and competency for self-initiative, motivation, confidence, accuracy, technical/detail orientation, be a team player, and with a “can do” attitude.
  • Time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency and skill in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds of products and materials.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for receiving incoming spare parts and itemizing products and materials within inventory including labeling and data input.
  • Responsible for the recording of all material in and out transactions and ensures accurate, proper, and timely inventory through consistent and ongoing cycle and physical counts and annual inventory reporting.
  • Conducts and follows up with the receiving and transfer of internal materials, verifies packing roster, invoicing and quotation of services, and resolves discrepancies with parts supplier.
  • Performs product receiving for the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Collaborates with technical support to continuously enhance and improve current RMA programs, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Department to develop recommendations for the enhancement and improvement of warehouse conditions, layout, operations, and product knowledge.
  • Assists with the coordination of various company departments to ensure sales orders are processed accurately, properly, timely, and effectively.
  • Assists and supports RMA management and administration to achieve material processing and control goals and objectives.
  • Performs and completes any other tasks/projects as assigned.
