About The Position

The Medical Assistant performs various patient care activities and related
services in caring for the needs and comfort of patients under the direction of
the physician, mid-level provider or RN. Duties include (but are not limited
to): obtaining basic assessment information, including vital signs, and point of
care test; advocating for patients; administering prescribed medications,
preparing exam rooms, procedure room, and assisting providers; documenting in
the EMR according to TSH policy and procedures in a fast paced clinic setting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Washington State Certified Medical Assistant
• Medical Assistant Registration
• Participates in maintaining a safe patient care environment
• Able to work in a team environment while maintaining a highly professional and productive work ethic
• Utilizing skills to provide patient care
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Computer skills, including electronic medical records systems

Nice To Haves

• Previous clinic experience preferred
