Raw Material Management - Supervise daily operations of raw material receiving, handling, and storage. - Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and traceability of all raw materials. - Monitor raw material levels and coordinate timely replenishment with the logistics team. - Verify material availability and prepare daily/weekly reports for production planning. Quality & Compliance - Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. - Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) on sampling, testing, and approval processes. - Ensure proper segregation of non-conforming or expired materials. Inventory Control - Maintain accurate stock records using WMS systems. - Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. - Implement FIFO/FEFO practices to reduce waste and ensure material freshness/quality. Team Leadership - Supervise and train warehouse/raw material handling staff. - Assign daily tasks and monitor performance, safety, and compliance. Safety & Housekeeping - Ensure raw material storage areas comply with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards. - Enforce proper use of PPE and safe material handling practices. - Oversee warehouse housekeeping and organization (5S implementation is a plus).
