About The Position

The River Rock Food Server at Aquarius in Laughlin, NV is responsible for placing food and beverage orders, delivering items to tables, and ensuring guests enjoy their visit to the coffee shop. The role requires maintaining knowledge of all restaurant menu options and engaging with guests in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. The server must ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines while providing outstanding guest service in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Six months of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
• Verify right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Takes accurate food and beverage orders and serves them to guest tables according to venue specifications.
• Engages with guests in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Maintains knowledge of all restaurant menu options and answers guests' questions about the menu.
• Delivers food to guests, ensuring that the proper order was received and that beverages are refilled.
• Communicates regularly with on-coming shift staff and the chef on duty to address issues and concerns.
• Ensures that all food is served within health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Attends training classes required by management.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
