About The Position

SUMMARY: Duties will encompass the support and improvement of the enterprise risk management program, with a primary focus on managing our vendor management program. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensures vendor management program complies with regulatory and company standards Provides recommendations to improve the vendor management program and mitigate vendor risk Collaborates with vendor owners to determine vendor onboarding, ongoing oversight and termination requirements Actively communicates with vendor owners to ensure due diligence documents are current and reviewed Acts as a secondary reviewer of vendor contracts and due diligence documents to identify vendor risks Collaborates with Information Security to review vendor controls are in place for data security Coordinates semi-annual vendor performance review process Conducts semi-annual Vendor Management Committee Meetings Acts as administrator for the Vendor Management software Assists in the development of and review proposed changes to credit union policies, internal guidelines, and procedures Conducts training for employees Assists in managing enterprise risk management program Assists with Business Continuity Program management Assists with conducting internal risk reviews Assists with external examinations and risk reviews Maintains confidentiality of information and controls. Protects all credit union sensitive information and materials within the scope of the department functions Other duties as may be assigned SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: Assists with fraud duties, including member incidents and account reviews and investigations Assists with BSA duties, including suspicious activity, regulatory reporting and investigations Assists with fiduciary account responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Two (2) years of experience working in a financial institution

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in Business or related field
  • Two (2) years of experience working in a vendor management position in a financial institution

Responsibilities
