Risk Services Consultant II – NJ / NY + 5 NYC Boroughs
About The Position
Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a member of the Tokio Marine Group, designs, markets and underwrites commercial property/casualty and professional liability insurance products for select industries. We are looking for a Risk Services Consultant II – NJ / NY + 5 NYC Boroughs to join our team: Summary : Provides technical expertise in a specialty area. Territory: Central & Northern New Jersey, New York City + NYC 5 Boroughs. Consults with underwriters and insureds about significant loss prevention programs within area of expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
- Seven to Fifteen years previous related experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Needed travel within territory, including Central & Northern New Jersey, New York City + NYC 5 Boroughs.
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Safety, Engineering or related field/equivalent desired.
- Designations such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or ARM (Associate in Risk Management) desired.
Responsibilities
- Performs risk analysis studies in order to maintain maximum protection of an organization's assets.
- Delivers risk management and loss prevention programs in a given product area.
- Conducts loss control surveys, analysis and recommendations for complex risks in a given product area.
- Communicates with agents, insureds and underwriters about specific risks as well as any trends in loss prevention issues in a given product area.
- Maintains up-to-date technical knowledge of safety legislation and regulation as well as current loss experiences for a given product area.
- Assists in training new staff.
