About RayIntelligence and Machine Learning at RaySearch Laboratories RayIntelligence is a specialized platform developed by RaySearch to provide intelligent support for oncology clinics. It assists clinical staff, such as physicians, physicists, and treatment planners, by offering data-driven insights and recommendations throughout the patient care process. In addition, RaySearch develops and integrates machine learning functionality across its products, to enhance treatment planning, decision support, and workflow optimization. Together, RayIntelligence and machine learning technologies aim to improve patient outcomes, streamline oncology workflows, and enable more efficient and personalized care. About the job As a Risk Manager for these areas, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with both RayIntelligence and RaySearch's machine learning solutions, ensuring their safe and effective use in clinical settings. Your responsibilities will span the entire product lifecycle, with a particular focus on cybersecurity and information security risks due to the cloud-based nature of RayIntelligence. You will collaborate closely with development teams in the Machine Learning department and contribute to risk management for integrations with RaySearch's other products. In this role, you will be part of the RayIntelligence project management team and collaborate with Risk Managers from other development projects to ensure comprehensive risk mitigation.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in engineering, or equivalent
• 3+ years' experience in software development with complex products
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English and Swedish)

Nice To Haves

• Experience from the medtech industry or other regulated or safety critical industries
• Experience of device risk management
• Experience with product safety standard requirements for medical devices (IEC/ISO standards, e.g., ISO 14971)
• Leadership or project management experience
• Interest in cyber security.
• Experience as a system developer

Responsibilities

• Participate in project planning together with the project management team.
• Support the development team with risk management related tasks, e.g., ensuring that the risk management process is applied, taking part in design and risk analysis of new and changed functionality and ensuring that risks are appropriately mitigated and tested.
• Own and maintain the project's risk management documentation.
• Coordinate cybersecurity management activities within product development and the secure software development life cycle (SSDLC).
• Handle post-market surveillance activities, such as patient safety issues and CAPA.
