POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Risk Manager will work under the direction of the Contract Assurance Manager. Your role as a Risk Manager will include: Mature the Enterprise Risk Management program at the Lab, Maintain Enterprise Risk Management Plan, Lead discussions on collecting risk information from all lab divisions and directorates, Conduct risk identification sessions, Maintain enterprise risk register, Support risk handling plans, Estimate cost and schedule impacts of enterprise risk to campus-wide projects, Perform quantitative risk analysis (i.e. Monte Carlo) when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field and at least fifteen years experience supporting increasingly accountable risk management programs. Ten years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of risk management
  • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven success in leading teams to develop and deploy risk management systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products
  • Experience with Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis tools
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Reporting
  • Willingness to learn new skills and software
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Ability to work in a diverse work environment
  • Pre-placement physical examination, which includes drug screening, and inclusion in random drug testing program
  • Demonstrable ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values
  • Must be a U.S. citizen; dual citizenship is not allowed.
