About The Position
At Capital One, models are the engines that drive our most salient business decisions. Capital One's Model Risk Office (MROf) governs and maintains these engines to meet regulatory standards by defining model risk management (MRM) framework and model governance practices for the company. Capital One's MROf seeks an exemplary risk manager to play a key role in helping the MROf deliver on its goals. As a Risk Manager at Capital One you will partner with stakeholders across the Lines of Business working with model risk policies, regulations and processes. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across multiple functional areas and levels of the organization. Strong data and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment are essential to succeeding in this role. The role requires a well-rounded individual who is comfortable adjusting their approach to meet unique needs across multiple initiatives within a complex organization.
