About The Position

Are you a RN looking to make a shift in your career? Well the Vines Hospital may have the shift you are looking for. We are currently recruiting for a full time, Quality Coordinator RN to work in our Quality Assurance Department. This position will report to and support the Director of Risk Management/PI. Responsible for the ongoing, effective daily operations of Risk Management activities. Such responsibilities include incorporation of the Corporate TERM/Patient Safety Program into the overall functions of the Vines Hospital System. Ensure continuous reporting to System Risk Management Director, Administration and Corporate Risk Management/Insurance. This position is a 40 hour a week opportunity.

Requirements

• FL RN licensure or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital operations, risk identification, assessment and reduction, and claims management.
• Strong knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, AHCA, and state and Federal standards and regulations including Patient Rights standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Organizational skills and ability to interact with and coordinate all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Risk Management/PI.
• Oversee daily operations of Risk Management activities.
• Incorporate the Corporate TERM/Patient Safety Program into hospital functions.
• Ensure continuous reporting to System Risk Management Director, Administration, and Corporate Risk Management/Insurance.
