About The Position

The Risk Management Analyst supports the firm’s Risk Management department by assisting with contract reviews, risk documentation, and audits. Under the supervision of the Director of Risk Management, the Risk Management Analyst collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in policy application and risk awareness across the firm. The position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth through mentorship, hands-on-training and exposure to risk management best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or other relevant education
  • 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in risk management, contracts administration, or project coordination in the A/E/C industry
  • Skilled in organizing and maintaining data across multiple systems or platforms with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion, ensuring compliance with firm policies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word, with the ability to create, organize and interpret data
  • Eager to expand knowledge of risk management principles and apply learned concepts
  • Proven team collaborator with experience partnering with teams to achieve shared objectives

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of Deltek Vision, Newforma software and Adobe Acrobat preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director and senior-level employees in decision-making, policy formulation, and other risk functions as needed
  • Learn and apply fundamental concepts of professional services agreements and risk identification with oversight
  • Assist in auditing new and existing professional services agreements to identify potential risks
  • Support coordination of contract review processes; draft and recommend revisions for leadership review
  • Thoroughly document project risk issues and prepare draft correspondence with recommended solutions for review
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and tools related to professional liability and risk management
  • Read, interpret, and assess insurance requirements and certificates of insurance for adequacy and compliance
  • Support the coordination of project incidents and claims management
  • Assist with professional registration renewals for the firm and help ensure compliance with state requirements
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of information within the internal Risk Management portal and propose updates to the Director as necessary
  • Assist the Director with special projects, annual reporting, and industry research as needed
