As an Area Product Owner – Associate in the Risk Architecture Data Analytics and Technology group, you will be responsible for managing data delivery of Risk Data Product (RDP) supporting all Model Training & Serving for Credit, Fraud and Portfolio teams as well as Chase 360 engines and various Data Services and Cloud Strategy agenda initiatives. This role requires managing scrum of scrums in partner with Tech PALs and coordinating work across 10 Agile Tech teams, to drive strategic roadmap of RDP for discretionary data delivery with focus on Innovation. Requirements

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in a computer science / engineering / MIS or business discipline from an accredited college/university required
  • 5+ years of experience in Data analytics and Product Management
  • 5+ Experience in Agile technology, Scrum ceremonies, backlog management, Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence
  • 5+ Experience in Data migration from on prem to Cloud, including Snowflake, AWS
  • Understand Data Mapping for Existing Platform Functions including Datasets, models and engines
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products including Power points, and Excel
  • Proven ability to evaluate the business climate, anticipate change and develop compensating strategies/vision.
  • Demonstrated leadership in applying analytics to efficiently and pragmatically solve business problems through structured problem-solving approaches.
  • Strong analytical, and technical skills. Ability to synthesize / analyze diverse information, develops recommendations, and makes decisions.
  • Project Management Skills -- well-organized, structured approach. Ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables. Ability to manage and prioritize projects across cross-functional groups.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals across departments / functions and with senior-level individuals.

  • AWS Certifications
  • Awareness of Databricks, Data Pond/Lake and Data Mesh concepts
  • Extensive experience in Data analysis & Governance including analytics

Responsibilities

  • Drive data delivery for Risk data pond as an Area product owner including leadership, Backlog management, and run point for creative solutioning focusing on Innovation to achieve high data quality and speed to market.
  • Provide support for all stakeholder product and tech teams for Snowflake and Databricks migration.
  • Ensure compliance with existing risk and control structure while driving future enhancements to risk and control structure.
  • Provides accurate and concise results and presents findings, recommendations and presentations to Management.
  • Collaborate across cross functional teams to knowledge share and develop broader insights into fraud and customer impacts
  • Ensure robust business controls exist and are executed against on a consistent basis
  • Partner closely with Operations, IT, Risk Product owners, CCB Data Analytics, to ensure that all priorities are aligned.
  • Communicate across lines of business and all key stakeholder groups. Participate in developing and implementing best practices across the broader team including stakeholders like Risk products, Control, technology
