About The Position

We are seeking an entry-level Commercial Lines Risk Analyst to support the evaluation and management of risk for a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across multiple industries. This role operationalizes department strategy by coordinating onboarding, maintaining cadence and calendars, managing integrations, producing client-ready documentation, and driving adoption through training and communications. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and interested in learning complex, industry-specific risks across a variety of business operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in safety, risk, compliance, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with commercial insurance lines such as auto liability, general liability, workers’ compensation, property, professional liability, or other coverages
  • Willingness to complete the OSHA 30 hour, HAZWOPER 40-hour, DOT Safety Manager, and other various risk and safety compliance courses within 6-12 months.
  • Commitment to learning risk/safety fundamentals and pursuing relevant certifications as appropriate to the organization’s needs (timeline aligned with manager).

Responsibilities

  • Program ownership: managing intake, requirements, build coordination, launch readiness, rollout, and post-launch iteration for all Risk Control programs (e.g., Zywave, Synthesia custom videos, etc.)
  • Client onboarding & execution: coordinate onboarding into risk solutions and compliance programs; maintain the client engagement calendar; ensure agreed meeting cadence is executed.
  • 30/60/90 plan execution: support creation (with Head of Risk Control) and own day-to-day execution of compliance plans, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Integration management: coordinate requirements, testing/validation, documentation, and change control for connected platforms (e.g., Zywave, Samba Safety, Samsara) and internal tools.
  • Enablement & communications: deliver demos, training, and onboarding materials; create and distribute client communications, schedules, and program updates.
  • Client documentation: draft client-facing documents and program artifacts (templates, SOPs, guides) for approval by the Head of Risk Control & Safety.
  • Voice-of-customer: capture feedback, triage issues, prioritize enhancements with leadership, and publish updates/release notes to stakeholders.
  • Process & governance: create/maintain SOPs, checklists, and playbooks; maintain version control and change logs; ensure repeatable delivery.
  • Reporting & risk escalation: track implementation progress, adoption milestones, and issue trends; surface risks early and escalate blockers with clear options.
  • Stakeholder coordination: maintain a list of prospects and active clients for Risk Control services; coordinate handoffs and follow-ups with internal teams as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required by management.
