About The Position

The Risk Consulting - SOX ITGC Manager position at EY involves leading engagements to help clients develop and strengthen their IT compliance programs. This role requires direct interaction with clients to review IT processes and controls, implement necessary changes, and ensure adherence to compliance regulations. The manager will oversee engagement teams, provide coaching, and report to both senior team members and client leadership, while also managing project timelines and deliverables.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working as an IT auditor or IT risk adviser for a public accounting firm or professional services firm.
  • Significant experience in applying technical knowledge in financial statement audits, internal audits, or Service Organization Controls Reporting engagements.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to inspire teamwork.
  • Ability to travel outside of the assigned office location at least 20% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA, CIPP, CGEIT certification is desired; if non-certified, must become certified within 1 year from hire.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a fieldwork leader for engagements to help clients develop and strengthen their IT compliance programs.
  • Review clients' IT processes and controls, remediate and implement controls, and onboard new tools into compliance frameworks.
  • Assist with readiness and adherence for new compliance regulations.
  • Provide oversight and coaching to engagement team members, both in-person and remotely.
  • Report to senior engagement team members and client leadership on engagement status and challenges.
  • Collaborate with onshore and offshore team members to plan engagements and manage project health.
  • Direct the daily progress of fieldwork and manage staff performance to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance for their development.
