About The Position

The Risk Consulting - Digital Risk - SOX ITGC Senior position at EY involves leading engagements to help clients develop and enhance their IT compliance programs. This role requires a thorough understanding of IT-related risks and controls, particularly in complex information systems, and the ability to advise clients on various industry frameworks and regulations. The position emphasizes collaboration, project management, and mentorship of junior team members, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or master's degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an IT risk consultant or IT auditor for a public accounting firm, a professional services firm, or within industry.
  • Experience in applying relevant technical knowledge in risk consulting, financial statement audits, internal or operational audits, or Service Organization Controls Reporting engagements.
  • Availability to travel outside of assigned office location at least 20% of the time, plus commute within the region.
  • A valid passport is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business, computer science, information systems, informatics, computer engineering, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • CISA, CISSP, CISM, CPA or CA certification is desired; non-certified hires are required to become certified to be eligible for promotion to Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a fieldwork leader for engagements to help clients develop and strengthen their IT compliance programs.
  • Review clients' IT processes and controls, remediate and implement controls, and onboard new tools and services into compliance frameworks.
  • Assist with readiness and adherence for new compliance regulations.
  • Provide in-person and remote oversight and coaching of engagement team members.
  • Report to senior engagement team members and client leadership, and partner with key client contacts to complete engagement work.
  • Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of IT-related risks and controls for complex information systems.
  • Advise clients using knowledge of industry frameworks/regulations such as SOX, SOC1/2/3, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, PCI, HiTrust, NIST, CSA.
  • Collaborate with onshore and offshore team members to plan engagements and manage project health.
  • Direct daily progress of fieldwork and manage staff performance to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Mentor junior team members and create a positive team environment.
