About The Position

NV5 Geospatial is actively recruiting a Risk & Compliance Analyst. Strong capabilities in assessing programmatic risks, ensuring compliance with DoD governance frameworks, and developing mitigation strategies are required. The Risk & Compliance Analyst will be based remotely supporting US Southern Command. US citizenship, along with the ability to successfully pass a basic background check for access to US military bases, is required for employment. While no clearance is required, an active Secret or higher clearance is preferred. Work Setting: This role offers flexibility in location, with the option to work from any NV5 Regional Office or remotely from home. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Information Security, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in risk and compliance analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring adherence to federal security and compliance mandates.
  • Experience with DoD cybersecurity policies, security control implementation, and program governance audits.
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
  • US citizenship, along with the ability to successfully pass a basic background check for access to US military bases, is required for employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP.
  • Portuguese or Spanish language skills.
  • Experience with government IT programs and environments.
  • Active Secret or higher clearance preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with DoD, IC, and federal acquisition guidelines, conducting periodic risk assessments and governance reviews.
  • Develop and maintain compliance tracking documentation, ensuring program adheres to relevant security, operational, and financial regulations.
