This role involves gathering requirements, writing user stories, collaborating with subject matter experts, integrating research into product requirements, identifying critical issues, providing product demos, and ensuring timely implementation and remediation of features. The associate will own end-to-end delivery, participate in the design and implementation of next-generation risk analytics, and support the development and integration of strategic platforms and models.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Industrial Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Risk Associate, Product Owner, Software Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, System Analyst, or related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Risk Associate, Product Owner, Software Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, System Analyst, or related occupation.
  • Three (3) years of experience with designing and implementing technology solutions for the financial services or fintech industry, including regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Three (3) years of experience with leading product management or development initiatives, including strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and market analysis.
  • Three (3) years of experience with managing stakeholder priorities and negotiating conflicting priorities to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Three (3) years of experience with driving product delivery with cross-functional teams and ensuring product goals and KPIs are met.
  • Any amount of experience with leading technology product lifecycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and release activities.
  • Any amount of experience with creating and maintaining product roadmaps that align with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Any amount of experience with developing customer journey maps to visualize and enhance user experiences across various process touchpoints.
  • Any amount of experience with utilizing story mapping techniques in Jira to prioritize features and ensure alignment with product goals.
  • Any amount of experience with designing business process flow diagrams to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Any amount of experience with creating sample product prototypes to test and validate concepts before full-scale development.
  • Any amount of experience with using Agile methodologies for leading iterative product development and using tools such as Jira to manage backlogs and track progress.
  • Any amount of experience with using a data-driven decision-making approach, including leveraging large language model and machine learning analytics to inform product decisions and optimize performance.

Responsibilities

  • Gather clear requirements and write user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand use cases, pain points, and trends in the marketplace.
  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements and develop user journeys and other artifacts.
  • Identify critical issues and present recommendations for resolution.
  • Provide product demos, conduct product review and feedback sessions, and ensure feedback is incorporated into roadmaps.
  • Ensure new features are implemented according to specifications, released on schedule, and issues are remediated in a timely manner.
  • Own end-to-end delivery including writing the requirements, defining the feature scope, testing and delivery.
  • Participate in the design, architecture, and implementation of the firm's next generation risk analytics.
  • Work with technology and the business on the development of its strategic platform as well as support the implementation and integration of models into the firm's delivery platforms.
