Lockheed Martin seeks a motivated Systems Engineer to become our Risk and Opportunity Management Lead for P267 and P277 programs within Global Security in beautiful Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be immersed in a creative, high-tempo, multifunctional, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment. You will support the overall team while working closely with the Chief Systems Engineer, Chief Engineer, Program Manager and Integrated Product Team Leads. Requirements

  • Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management tools and processes
  • Systems Engineering process experience and complete lifecycle experience with Engineering Reviews
  • Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools
  • US Citizenship with Top Secret with SCI Eligibility (T5 investigation) Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related field, or equivalent experience/combined education with commensurate years of professional experience
  • Experience with ROADS
  • Experience with Space Vehicle development life cycle
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
  • Effectively manage change
  • Proven behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
  • Ability to lead multi-functional teams, build strong relationships with team members and build consensus among peers
  • Active or current TS/SCI clearance preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Integrated Product Team (IPT)/Segment leads, and subcontractors to identify risks and opportunities, coordinate with the Program to assess risks / opportunities and implement appropriate risk and opportunity handling strategies
  • Lead Risk and Opportunity Management Boards, present R&Os at internal and external customer facing meetings, and help deliver Risk and Opportunity training as necessary
  • Support ad-hoc tasking as directed by the PM and Chief Systems Engineer
