How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The Risk and Internal Control Analyst is a dual-purpose role within the Finance Department. The candidate will ensure the implementation of risk management processes across all proposals and projects while simultaneously executing internal control compliance requirements for E&C Americas. The primary goal is to foster risk awareness and maintain a robust control environment through testing, monitoring, and team collaboration. Candidate must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree: Required in Project/Commercial/Engineering Management, Engineering Science, or Accounting
  • 3–5 years in proposal/project execution within the industry (Engineering, Procurement, Construction workflows)
  • Experience in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategy.
  • Experience in internal controls
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Understanding of Quantitative Risk Assessment tools, Monte Carlo method application, and contingency assessment
  • Ability to animate proposal/project teams and share knowledge openly
  • Ability to adapt to fast-changing environments and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) is a plus
  • Proficiency in SAP is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Implement risk policies, procedures, and systems at the proposal and project levels to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Perform risk assessments, develop mitigation plans, and identify opportunities during the proposal phase and project execution.
  • Conduct quantitative assessments using tools like the Monte Carlo method; interface with Estimation, Cost Control, and Schedule teams.
  • Lead periodic risk monitoring sessions and update risk registers based on final contractual terms or new project setups
  • Perform SAPIN II anti-corruption accounting control testing and select samples based on entity risk scenarios.
  • Lead the annual Self-Assessment test for the Americas, validating evidence for control effectiveness and tracking action items.
  • Act as the liaison between internal/external auditors and control owners to ensure timely responses and closure of audit points.
  • Complete accounting control templates and conclusion memos, providing insight into test results and action plans.
