The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Manager for the Risk and Compliance team within the Information Security & Identity Management division. This position is a 100% remote work arrangement, consistent with System Office policy. The Manager will engage with faculty and staff across the University to assess technology compliance with institutional and external security requirements, maintain critical cybersecurity compliance programs, and provide security consultations for departments and major initiatives. The role involves delivering scalable, effective solutions to meet security program goals and representing the Information Security Office in discussions about risk and compliance. The Manager will coordinate work necessary to deliver HIPAA, PCI, and Research Security compliance program outcomes and collaborate with other teams to update risk methods and recommend changes to University policy. Additionally, the Manager will support the professional development of Risk and Compliance security analysts and participate in security program planning and updates to the Board of Trustees.
