About The Position
Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Analytics Leader within the Consumer Lending Operational Risk team (CL ORBO). The CL ORBO team is responsible for providing independent oversight of front-line operational risk management effectiveness of the Consumer Lending business. Operational Risk is the risk resulting from inadequate or failed internal controls and processes, people and systems, or resulting from external events. This critical role will be responsible for conducting data-driven analysis across different areas of the Consumer Lending business - leveraging Risk and business data and provide actionable insights to drive effective risk outcomes. The person in the role is expected to engage with senior business and risk leaders, influence and challenge risk management activities, evaluate trade-offs and facilitate effective decision making. You will be an advisor to leadership on expanding data-driven analytics across Operational Risk and execute the vision of incubating analytic capabilities across the wider team. As a part of the role, you will be required to keep abreast of AI/GenAI advancements, maintain knowledge of analytic best practices, promote AI literacy and foster AI adoption across the team. This individual contributor role will serve as both a visionary strategist and hands-on-operator.
