About The Position

Verisk‘s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide you with real work experience, professional development, and networking opportunities. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) paid internship program spanning ten weeks from June through August 2026. Participation in the internship program requires that you are located near your assigned office as the program is a hybrid work schedule, requiring you to be in the office at least 2 days per week. We are hiring in the following U.S. locations: Boston, MA.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program.
• Possess an analytical mindset, passion for business, and a desire to innovate.
• Strong communication skills, responsible, and highly motivated to take initiative.
• Ability to learn, problem-solve and work independently on projects.
• At a minimum, proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Risk Management & Insurance majors are a plus.
• A history of tackling projects with a quantitative lens and a desire for data-driven insights.
• Interest or past experience in insurance is helpful, though not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in risk analyses using Verisk's cutting-edge technology for insurers, brokers, reinsurers, and other financial intermediaries in the internationally expanding business of extreme event risk management.
• Conduct immersive research, analyze data, and consulting projects to benefit our clients.
• Build professional relationships with coworkers and clients while offering support across business units.
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently on projects.
