Job Description: This job is responsible for supporting data and technology requests, complex reporting and analysis, and modeling to manage risk and minimize credit and operating losses. Key responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing portfolio trends, supporting the development of more complex databases or queries to extract data, and supporting the production of data for internal and external reporting needs. Job expectations include working with Technology to implement changes necessary to support ongoing data needs. This team develops, executes and enhances reporting and analysis that allows our risk and business partners to identify and manage credit risk, ensuring that Bank of America can deliver responsible growth within our risk framework. The team is focused on automation and uses several Business Intelligence (BI) tools to efficiently deliver timely and accurate information. The Risk Analysis Specialist will use their business and technical expertise to develop, execute and maintain counterparty credit risk reporting and dashboards. Experience working with Quartz, Zinc and QzTrades will be most useful as the team transitions away from other, legacy data sources. The team produces over 40 CCR reports and dashboards with a global audience, including high visibility reporting such as risk appetite, portfolio reporting and Institution-to-Institution Credit Exposure (IICE) reporting. The Risk Analysis Specialist will be responsible for some of these reports. They must have a good working knowledge of SQL and BI tools such as SSRS or Tableau and be able to collaborate with reporting stakeholders and technology partners on changes and enhancements. In addition to regular reporting the Risk Analysis Specialist must be capable of working on ad-hoc business requests by providing appropriate data and analysis, working closely with other teams as necessary. They will work with a high degree of autonomy and be aware of the risks of complacently.
